Your 2014 Kidepo album is beyond imagining. Every photo enthralled me due to sharpness, color, luminosity and overall composition.
The Patas monkeys...cheetahs...giraffes...lions...zebras...reedbucks — all SUPERB!
Yet is was the wholly unexpected leopard shots which most impressed me.
Your camera settings and technique captured the essence of the leopard as well as I've ever before seen it done.
I'd specifically been wondering if visitors had ever seen leopards in Kidepo Valley National Park. Your images more than adequately answer my question.
I've had safaris in Kenya in January, May and July of this year, as well as a first-time safari in Sabi Sands, South Africa (Leopard Hills) in October.
For some reason I can't get Kidepo out of my mind. I don't know anyone who's been there, but what little I've read on the Internet has stoked my interest.
Yet your Kidepo images are of an entirely different order altogether. First-class all the way.
Your final sunset image knocked me over — lovely!
